At Zoom Movers, fostering a relationship based on trust and ethics with our customers is paramount. Traditionally, we have not required a reservation deposit, trusting in our customers’ courtesy to provide timely notice for cancelations or rescheduling. Recently, however, we’ve seen a rise in last-minute cancellations and no-shows, leading to financial setbacks for our company. Such losses encompass missed opportunities, labor costs, fuel, and vehicle expenses that arise when moves are unexpectedly canceled or clients are absent at the scheduled time.

Upon thorough evaluation, we've concluded that absorbing these costs is unsustainable for our business. As a result, we've implemented a Refundable Reservation Deposit policy as a safeguard against these financial impacts. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our updated policies on Reservation Deposits, Cancellations, Re-Scheduling, and No-Shows detailed below:

Reservation Deposit: We now require a reservation deposit for all moves. Upon receiving your reservation request, our representative will issue a deposit invoice by email. This payment secures your moving date and varies based on the move's complexity and required manpower. Importantly, the deposit is entirely refundable with a written cancellation notice at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled move.

Cancellations: For a full refund of your reservation deposit, kindly submit a written cancelation request through our easy-to-use electronic contact form no later than 72 hours before your scheduled move date.

Re-Scheduling: Recognizing that plans may shift, we strive to meet our customers' changing needs. Please note, re-scheduling must be arranged via a phone call with our agents at least 72 hours in advance of the move. Availability of our crew and potential price changes will determine the possibility of re-scheduling. Requests within 72 hours of the scheduled move will lead to the loss of the deposit.

"No Show" Policy: Booking a move with us means expecting our professional movers to be punctual. Once your reservation deposit is received, we dedicate our team to your move, counting on you to be present at the agreed-upon location. If our movers arrive and you are not available, your credit card will be charged for 100% of the minimum quoted amount (usually 3 hours of service).

Late Notice Cancelations: Cancelations made by the customer after 6 PM on the eve of the scheduled move will incur a minimum charge equivalent to 3 hours of service. Our office operates until 6 PM and reopens at 8 AM the next day, which means adjustments to the schedules of crews set for a 7 AM start time cannot be made after office hours.
